Featuring the Rio Tinto Alcan Nancy Greene Ski League (ANGSL) competition format and the Husky Snow Stars development program. The program consists of seven levels, which provide levels of achievement to strive for and certificates of completion for each level.
Ability - Children should have skied a number of times and be reasonably comfortable on their skis. Children who are not able to ride lifts by themselves need to ride the lift with an adult.
Fee includes club member fee, coaching, end of season written evaluation and certificate, BC Alpine membership for child and parents and use of various training and race equipment on program days.
Program runs - December 15 - end of March
Saturday - 9:15 -2:00 PM at Purden and Tabor Mountains
Sunday - 1:00 to 3:30 PM at Hart Highlands
Wednesday - 6:15 - 8:00 PM at Hart Highlands
Not included - lift tickets, ski equipment, and race fees
